Sarah Abdou

Board Member

Sarah is a Sydney-based lawyer specialising in employment law and has a passion for social justice.

After graduating from a combined Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Communications from the University of Technology Sydney in 2017, she has worked with various community legal centres including Redfern Legal Centre and Wirringa Baiya Aboriginal Women’s Legal Centre. She was previously involved in refugee community support work in the Villawood Detention Centre.

She is currently a Solicitor/ Clinical Supervisor at Kingsford Legal Centre training students from UNSW Law school. Over the years, she has volunteered for various not-for-profit organisations and is a recently appointed board member of the Islamic Council of NSW.
